what about the mileage and music system. whether it is provided in polo trendline

  • Indrashish

Now they have the 1.6 Polo, why are they not introducing the Auto transmission from the 1.6 Vento ? Automatic vento is out of my budget and my garage space is not enough for the vento as well, will be great if VW can brng the auto transmission in the 1.6 Polo with an approximate x-showroom price of 7 lacks or along with leather seats at around 7.3 lacks, that will make this version of the polo a really international one.. i understand that a 7.5 lack hatch wont sell too well ( see the fate of Jazz ) for if a korean maker can show guts to sell their 1.4L i20 at 7.6 lack ex-showroom .. y cant Volkswagon ? .. if VW gives us this auto option I will be the first one to book one .. but if they delay too much ..i will be forced to buy the i10 kappa2 sportz ( with Neo alloy, leather seats ) at 6.5 lacks on-road Kolkata please VW pleaseeeee

now ABT polo & polo R Line is launched in india ? i like polo abt & r line.

    • Faisal

Chandra, no ABT Polo nor Polo R Line to be launched in India.

  • Rishi

    Hi Faisal,

I read some posts on your blog. Your posts are technically sound and convincing. I am sure I am not the first one to express that. After reading some posts I felt you might be appropriate to help me out from a dilemma. Please help me out with some strong points around them.

    I am confused between
    1. Punto 1.2 Active Petrol
    2. Punto 1.2 Active Diesel
    3. Polo 1.2 Trendline Petrol

    My criteria are:
    1. Budget around 6.
    2. Driver seat legroom (I am tall, 6’2″)
    3. Good engine (noice, pickup & maintainence)
    4. Nice driving experience(suspension, stability at good speed and handling of the car)

PS: Reason I mentioned Punto 1.2 Active Diesel even it is over budget for me, as prices of Diesel cars will increase and after few years resale value will be good. As I don’t think I would drive a lot(below 1500 KM/month) so I have no other motivation for Diesel car.

    • Faisal Khan

Rishi, Thanks for the appreciation. I think the Punto diesel would be the best option for you. Its not a 1.2 but a 1.3 and that engine is a gem. So don’t delay, get the Punto 1.3 as soon as you can.

    hi Faisal,,,
i want to buy a car but i m confused in between i20 and polo.
give me suggestion which one is the best for long time.
