Volkswagen has launched the much awaited Polo in the country today. Prices for the 1.2L petrol variant starts at Rs. 4.34 lakhs while the 1.2L diesel variant comes at Rs. 5.32 lakhs (all prices ex showroom, New Delhi). Deliveries of the 1.2L petrol variant will commence from March 2010 across all Volkswagen dealerships. The 1.2L Diesel variant will be available from May 2010. The 1.2 litre petrol enginehas an output of 75HP @ 5400 rpm and a Torque of 110NM @ 3750 rpm. The 1.2 litre diesel engine has an output of 75HP @ 4200 rpm and torque of 180 NM @ 2000 rpm. The Polo comes with two-tone dashboard, remote keyless central locking, remote window up / down, CD MP3 Player changer with 4 speakers, tilt and telescopic steering, height adjustable drivers seat, green-tinted heat-blocking glass, CD MP3 Player changer with 4 speakers and galvanized body with 6 years Anti Corrosion Warranty.
