The much awaited Volkswagen Polo 1.6 can be booked now at a VW showroom near you. Yes, the German automaker has started taking bookings for the 1.6-litre petrol Polo which will be available in the top of the line, ‘Highline’ variant only. The 1598cc engine produces 103.5 bhp of power at 5250 rpm and 15.6 kgm of torque at 3750 rpm helping to reach 100kmph three seconds quicker than its 1.2 liter sibling. The Polo 1.6 will hit a top speed of 183.8kph and you can book yours with a down payment of Rs. 50,000/- Delivers will commence in October and the Polo 1.6 is priced at Rs. 7.10 lakh (on-road Mumbai), Rs. 43,000 more than the 1.2 petrol Highline variant.
