Total Shares 0

Just last month we had reported on Garware Motors planning a 250cc bike for India and now there is confirmation from the company on the same. The Pune based group have revealed thier future plans with their JV partners S&T Motors (the parent company of Hyosung). The Hysoung GT250R will be priced aggressively against the recently launched Honda CBR250R as per Diya Garware (MD of Garware Motors). The GT250R will be manufactured locally at the company’s plant at Wai, near Pune.

Garware Motors would be launching the GT650R and ST7 on the 20th of April, 201 priced at Rs. 5.5 and Rs 6 lakhs respectively. The company has completed all formalities, including certification from ARAI. The superbikes has been modified with reduction in noise and addition of saree guard to meet the requirements setup by ARAI. Garware Motors has also setup an all India bikers’ club called Hyfliers, which will help the company to promote the GT650R and ST7. The company will also launch a naked version of the GT650R in the later half of the year.
