KTM has launched the Duke 125 in Europe. The bikes are manufactured by Bajaj Auto at Chakan and the company sent 2000 units to Europe as the initial lot. The reviews from auto journalists in Europe have been very positive after they rode the new KTM Duke 125. In India, we will be getting the KTM Duke 200 with around 22PS of power from the 200cc KTM mill. The KTM Duke 200 will be priced around Rs. 1,40,000/- and will give the Honda CBR250R a run for its money.

The KTM Duke 200 will feature upside down front forks, 4-valve liquid cooled engine, fuel injection, wide tyres and an amazing built quality. The Duke 200 will weight not more than 140kgs, giving the bike a 30kgs weight advantage over the CBR250R, which weighs 169kgs. With all this in consideration, the Duke 200 is expected to be faster than the Honda but speed is not what matters for KTM riders, style does and there is abundant of it on the Duke.

    The world Quality and Bajaj can never come together.. So even if its KTM, if its made by bajaj, then “no thanks” :)

    @Hunky
    Yes Yaar u r right.
    Bajaj is making Fool to Aam Janta.

    Mates even if this has been manufactured by bajaj the Company still remains KTM and they are into european market which is very fragile and they wont tolerate any quality blip. So all export product has to meet europe quality standards and only then sold to masses. If you think Pulsars in India and Pulsars in US are the same. Then they are not. Here due to heavy competition and lingering demand they have to compromise on cost in terms of qaulity. Sames goes with Hero, Hondas and Yamahas. No company cam afford to manufacture a low cost product with high quality standards.

  • doesn’t matter whoever launches it in india ……. i m waiting for it eagerly…

  • @Hunky, have you tried owning a Bajaj Motorcycle? If not, well better shut your mouth and know the facts first before you say anything about anything. I myself own a Pulsar made by Bajaj and all I can say is that this machine is the most durable and reliable bikes I’ve ever had for 15 years of riding.

    Cant wait for this to be launch in our country!!!
