Hyundai Verna Suspension Upgrade

The Hyundai Verna is selling like hot cakes, registering class leading volumes. The Verna has everything a C-segment buyer is looking at. It looks good, rides decently and is fully loaded with features. However what the Verna lacks is high speed stability and sharp handling. Every one who has driven the Hyundai Verna knows how bouncy the car can get at high speeds. High speed stability is infact so poor that enthusiasts opt to buy cars which as sharp like the Fiat Linea or the Ford Fiesta. Now this could change as we hear that Hyundai could soon give the Fluidic Verna a slight suspension update.

Currently Hyundai uses MacPherson Struts at the front and Torsion Beam Axle at the rear. This system offers the Verna with a decent ride quality but the car gets slightly pitchy as speed increases. Hyundai could upgrade the suspension to a new system, which offers better stability to the car. The exact changes to the Verna’s suspension are still sketchy but buyers can expect stiffer springs aiding to better handling of this Fluidic vehicle. A slight price hike may be initiated too as this upgrade is expected once the Government announces its new tax policy for diesel cars.
