Yamaha Ray 110cc

Yamaha is launching the Ray scooter in India today. The launch is taking place at Novotel hotel in Hyderabad and our special correspondents (Kundan and Phani Deep) are present at the event. The Yamaha Ray is powered by a 113cc (bore x stroke – 50 x 57.8 mm), air-cooled, 2-valve, SOHC, single-cylinder engine which produces a peak power output of 7.1 PS at 7500 RPM and peak torque output of 8.1 Nm at 5000 RPM. The engine seems to be clearly tuned for mileage and has both electric and kick start options. The Yamaha Ray has been priced at Rs. 46,000/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Yamaha Ray scooter is available in six colors namely Pink, Black, Blue, Purple, Burgundy and Grey. Yamaha is highlighting eight features – spacious under seat storage, telescopic suspension, compact leg shield, bright and dynamic headlight, stylish tail light, longer rear fender and powerful and fuel efficient 113cc engine. The Ray comes with a Yamaha warranty of 2-years /24,000 kms (which ever is earlier).
