After many speculations, Tata Motors is ready with the newest special edition of the Nano, which will be launched this festive season. The company had recently introduced the 2012 model of the Tata Nano, which has been doing average sales. The Nano Special Edition comes in the midst of automobile companies offering attractive discounts and offers on new purchases. While there are no changes to the engine, new additions to the exterior and interior are evident in this limited edition Tata Nano.

The limited edition of the Tata Nano will sport changes in the exterior with alloy wheels made available as standard on Nano LX and CX variants. Graphics on the body in Nano LX (not for CX), a special edition sticker to define its exclusivity in both Nano LX and CX. Inside the Nano, it has been provided with two gloveboxes placed on both sides of the dashboard – for Nano LX and CX and in the audio department it has a Blaupunkt audio system with USB input, available for Nano LX and CX.

The Tata Nano special edition will be available in six different color schemes and the LX variant with body graphics does look attractive. The above mentioned features are worth Rs. 25,000 and hence the car will easily attract more customers into Tata showrooms this Diwali. It remains to be seen how the limited edition Nano will be priced over the regular model. Tata Motors is also working on a CNG version of the Nano, which is expected to be launched by the end of the year. The company will bring a diesel-powered Nano next year.
