I wished Ducati bring in their Monster 696 at 5-6 lakhs to compete against the Triumph Bonevilles, Kawasaki Ninja 650 R, Hyosung GT650 and HD Superlows.

    • Karikor, I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

  • Dhiraj

Speed triple at 5.75 lk …..are you sure…???

    • Shashank

Wrong info here..street triple for 5.75 lacs and speed triple for 8 lacs.

    • Thanks Shashank for the heads up, we have made the necessary changes.

    • Dhiraj, corrections made ;-)

  • No One

Bike to look for are the Duke and Bajaj 375cc one’s along side of the 500cc Honda models.

They would be some game changer for their respective company.

    • Nikhil

I agree!! Those are the showstoppers. And since Honda CB500 series is going to undercut the Ninja 300 series by a good margin in price, its gonna be a definitely show stealer…!

    • crazywheels

thats true, Kawasaki is already sweating in the market due to the rivals ike CBR 250 R.

    • No One

i dont know why and how motorbeam lists the 500cc products withing 3.5L price bracket, but if that really happens, they Ninja and any other 250cc makers (namely hysung) would be out of business i guess.

    • No One, the CBR500R is made to be cost effective. Look at the hardware.

    • eklavya

if they dont bring CBR in 3.7 – 4 lakhs range, it will enter 650 range and noone will buy it

  • Mike

This is more of a wish-list. Last year too this site gave the prices and new launches, but none of the manufacturers really came up with any spectacular offerings except for tweaking existing models. When the Indian market being highly competitive and the buyers looking for low priced models. Sorry the next year is going to be the same. Nothing really new.

    • Mike, we write based on what info we get from our sources. Sometimes it doesn’t turn around that way but we try to be conservative with our estimates.

  • suren

    Aprilia RS200?? really???!!!

  • Ben

What about gw250? I thing aprilia, the king of small small capacity sports bike will rock india with their 200cc variant.

  • Naveen

What about discover 125st with 100cc engine ??? The world first 3 or 4 (i dont know) spark plug with monoshock, 4 valve, nitrox, digital spedo, split seats, led and cfl all over. Dont expect fuel injection as pulasr 220 fi was a big mess with fi…:D

Pls check this bike is getting two mudgurads

  • b ramanjaneyulu

you put reasonable rates for all classes of people

  • zeeshan

koi achi or sasti bike jiska avrage acha ho ??? :p

  • What is the mileage of Triumph Bonneville specially in indian Roads

  • zee

why bother about milage, just enjoy the ride

  • thanks for giving this information.. i liked the 100cc discover which we are expecting in 2013 with the look as 135cc discover had…

  • muzammil husain

    • Both are good Muzammil, it all depends on your requirements.

  • Sourav

Sorry Ducati to be launched in Feb’13!

  • karan

    stupid bikes have no sence

  • Raghav

Looks amzing rally of brands during 2013. Hyosung GV250 looks affodable in the section, but still confused about the post sales, service and spares.

  • deepak

    • Baljinder, it is a 125cc bike from Honda’s Dream series.

  • Vasanth

    Faisi….confused b/w cbr150r nd yamaha r15…which one should i go for…?

    • sanjay

I say go for r15 coz it has a fuel injection system which helps you keepin the milage problem nd also has a better bhp nd torq than cbr 150 plus u cant get that style of yamaha in Honda ……

  • Mohan

Guys please make a note TRIUMP DAYTONA 675 is 128PS and jaw-dropping 184kg (wet weight)

  • shahzad.+923023502911

can u give us a bike in pakistan? I like this bike 10cc.

  • pradeep m shetty

hey bro..i gonna take a superbike..more thn range is maximum 6 to 7 lack…i dont like naked i like faring plzz suggest me asap..thank q…

    • Pradeep, get the Ninja 650.

@FAISAL …. bro the yamaha Maxi scooter which u have shown is gonna be the one launch in India, or is gonna be on the lines of it????!!!!

    • Spitfire, its going to be a 125cc, but not sure how it will look as it could be developed for local tastes.

@PRADEEP……. bro u shud get the either ninja 650 or the hyosung gt 650r at d moment, if u are will willing to wait couple of months from now then wait for Honda to launch its CBR 500rr it will a knockout bike at a knockout price, you will save a lots of money n can give a grand n lavish party to your friends with the money saved ;)

  • pradeep

@spitfire..bro hw abt suzuki gsxr 750 nd gsxr 650 …??

@PRADEEP……..both of them are supersports bikes, they will be well over your budget…they costs almost the price of GSXR 1000 and that is the reason why they are not launched in india, since they won’t be considered VFM products in India. Performance wise when u compared these two bikes with a GSXR 1000 the difference is very minimal so they are priced so high. Practical bike for you will be the bikes i have mentioned if u are willing to shell out more money than go for Big GIXXER 1000, u won’t regret… there goes a saying “BIGGER IS BETTER” ;)

    • pradeep

bro..whn gsxr 600 nd 750 is going to be launch…???

  • Manav

    Hi Faisal,

I had heard long before about one and half year ago that
    1. honda is going to launch PCX 150 in india soon
    2. yamaha is going to launch majesty 125 in india soon
but i didnt got any tentative
can we expect both this to be get launched in 2013 in india?
Do u hav any info on this?

    • Manav, yes we can. Yamaha coming with its scooter by June, while Honda is coming with their scooter by Diwali.

    • Manav

      Thankx faisal for the info………………….
i was planning to purchase honda aviator but now i will wait for this powerful scooter to get launch soon n go for it

    • Manav, what are your requirements?

    • Manav

I am looking for gearless scooter/bike which can accomodate two person easily(me n my wife). i m nt comfortable with manual gear shift bikes.

    • Manav, budget? The Activa is a good option. So is the Swish.

    • Manav

my budget is 50K to 1.5L

  • Priyank

@Faisal bhai- I was looking forward to Mahindra Mojo till now, but Hyosung is spoiling the choice for me as also is Royal Enfield Cafe Racer. Which of these would be a best choice according to you? Also I think that chances are slight for Pulsar 375 for anytime soon. Pls revert.

  • praveen.yenibera

faisal… when can i expect YAMAHA R6 in india… i am egarly waiting 4 it.. n wat will be dat price in india..?

  • Speed

Ask me: Which one do you wanna buy…

    ALL OF THEM… :)

  • Vishnoo Rath

Till date even after almost a year of this post, none of the important bikes have come out. Will India ever get these bikes. Bajaj has dashed hopes with the KTM 390 (long wait period). Suzuki Inzuma also not on scene. I think all this is bakwas. Just showing Indians some dreams.

  • Shakti Tomar

    Amazing bike…..wooohooooo
