The Bajaj Pulsar has not only found acclaim locally but also globally. The vehicle has a massive fan following in many parts of the world, thanks to the high amount of equipment and affordable performance which it offers. The Pulsar 200 NS was launched in India last year and slowly Bajaj Auto is bringing the second generation motorcycle to other countries. The Pulsar 200 NS has been launched in Colombia with bookings now open.

The fan following of the Bajaj Pulsar is massive in Colombia, that owners have a big meet every October. Bajaj Auto could have launched the Pulsar in Colombia even earlier but the company prefers to meet the domestic demand first before starting exports, which is a good move. The second generation Pulsar shares quite a few components with the KTM Duke 200. Both the motorcycles are manufactured by Bajaj Auto at its plant in Chakan, Pune.

Bajaj Auto is betting big on global markets. The company wants to export 50% of its volumes, thereby becoming a global motorcycle company. The Indian automaker plans to launch the Pulsar 200 NS in Europe later this year, retailing it through KTM dealerships. Just recently Bajaj Auto had announced its plans to launch a fuel-injected version of the Pulsar 200 NS for a few export markets. Eventually the Pulsar 200 NS FI will be offered in India as well.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 199.5cc, triple-spark, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine which belts out 23.5 PS of peak power and 18.3 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 200 NS boasts of excellent handling and sure-footed brakes, offering scintillating performance for a very mouth watering price.
