2013 Honda VTR F250

Honda has launched the 2013 version of the amazing VTR250 naked bike. The Japanese bike manufacturer has also launched a special semi-faired edition called the VTR-F250. But sadly the latter bike will only be available in Japan thus disappointing quite a few bike enthusiasts. The VTR250 has been around for a very long time with the naked 250cc sports bike being produced from 1997 all over the world. This is the second generation and the latest update for the popular motorcycle.

The Honda VTR250 is a typical naked bike with very exciting aggressive looks, round headlamps and lack of any fairing or body panels. It boasts of an exposed trellis frame which is painted contrast to the rest of the bike. The VTR250 uses a 250cc V-twin engine which produces 29.5 HP of power and 22 Nm of torque. The power is transferred to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox. So this naked bike boasts quite some performance from its small capacity V-twin engine.

The Honda VTR-F250 uses the exact VTR250 bike as a base and has additional semi-fairing. There is a new Y-shaped headlamp and very modern and interesting new digital instrument cluster. The VTR-F250 is not the most good looking bike but it retains some elements from its naked sibling like the exposed contrast trellis frame and almost all of the rear. But sadly this exciting new bike will not be sold anywhere else in the world expect Japan. The VTR250 naked bike is available in most parts of the world but most probably it won’t be launched in India.
