Bajaj Pulsar 375 Spyshot

The much anticipated version of the Bajaj Pulsar is under works, which is expected to be the Pulsar 375. Recently, the pictures of the performance oriented Pulsar have surfaced the interweb showcasing aggressive design elements. Bajaj Auto is expected to roll out the sporty new Pulsar 375 later this year. Meanwhile, the two-wheeler manufacturer is focusing on the launch of the Duke 390 from the KTM stable, which will share most of its technology with the upcoming Pulsar 375. The flagship model will wear full fairing to offer bike enthusiasts next level of style and sporty characteristics.

The Pulsar 375 will feature dual-headlights, clip-on handlebars with a sporty yet compact cockpit layout equipped with good quality Bajaj switchgear. The bigger and faster Pulsar will share the four-stroke and single-cylinder engine platform with the KTM 390 Duke. We expect the fastest Pulsar to churn out 40 BHP of power, mated to a 6-speed close-ratio gearbox. The engine will be liquid-cooled with 4-valve equipped head. The new Pulsar 375, sharing its technology with the Duke family is expected to have a rev happy engine, providing quick acceleration with an expected top speed of around 150 km/hr.

For the suspension setup, Bajaj Auto will be fitting the sporty new Pulsar with standard telescopic forks at the front, while a monoshock system at the rear. Single rotor disc brakes will be treated for braking at both the front and rear. The front will be using a petal shape rotor for better heat dissipation. For added braking power, the manufacturer will be offering the new Pulsar with ABS system as an option. Bajaj Auto is expected to position the new Pulsar 375 under the KTM Duke 390 in terms of pricing.

    I hope they had shown the entire design of the bike. Coz we would all get excited by the front end, but who knows what the rear holds.

    My goooooooooooood…..!!!! the front end really looks coooooooooooooooooooooooool……..waiting for full bike design…..this kinda look and a really cooooooool pulsar mania ad……that is enough to make Indian bikers again crazy………..
    p.s.: front is copy of this bike, light are copy of this bike etc……this type of ideas are always welcome because Indians can only copy……..and about others….no no….. they get inspired…..isn’t it ….;)

    If this ghost is released in the Matt Black version like the one in the first pic… I’l go licking it all over… :)

    The first pic shows possibility of ABS… which is good… But expected top speed of around 150 km/hr…?? Seriously..?? I mean.. CBR 250r already does 147.

    Bikers would always be on the safer side when considering speeds but a little extra burst occasionally on an open stretch is always welcome… considering a 375cc, ~42hp and ~32nm power mill.

    The original version will be a different one with aggressive looks. But anyway i am sure they will price it within 1.5 L price range. Thats what Bajaj do – Hand over a sportsbike design to customers who are non willing to pay a huge amount to branded ones. Later on they will launch 400, 500 cc in the same platform, never leaving the brand name ” Pulsar ”.

    Pulsar 375 design is heavily inspired from an Italian electric motorcyle concept Energica.

    KTM390 uses 4 piston caliper for front brake, pulsar375 is using just 2 piston cliper.. will it stop on time without ABS?

      brother original specs are not out so lets wait for the original specs and we can discuss about the perfomence etc :)

    Front discbrake rotor design suggests that ABS will be available (atleast as an option).

    Sitting position should not be upright like that of 200NS. Otherwise the person on it will look like a joker.

    Think, a full faired bike with upright sitting position. LIKE THAT OF ZMR . . . . Ha ha ha ha . . .

    Sitting position should not be like that of R15 but atleast it should be like that of apache…..

    I hope bajaj gives a little pain in the back….

      Akash u r talking senseless. sports bikes won’t have upright position seating. ZMR is a tourer. u can’t expect a seating position of a tourer on a sports bike, or the bike will look like a Joker.

      b’coz 200ns has upright sitting position….. that is gud for a street fighter not for asports bike…. samajh gaya bhai…. :-)

      yes i too agree…. the handle bars are too high… it will hinder the ergonomics & maybe rider stability as he will b facing full on wind blasts on high speed..which will make it hard to reach 150+ speeds also the ride will look like a fool sitting upright on a full fared bike…… although i dont think it will b capable of crossing 160 any day
      i hope the faring build quality is good… & not cheap plastic which is looking like it in the pic

    Bajaj has come a long long way with the right collaborations. The engine refinement n the sportiness part for sure would be taken care off.. Thnx to KTM linked R&D.

    The major challenge now for Bajaj would be to take care of the vibrations and engine heat (guess the liquid cooling would solve most but right dissipation would really help).

    If this model is really launched the way its shown above… this would be Bajaj’s very first full faired offering… and a full faired machine would always need extra attention in terms of engineering.

    P200NS has minor vibe issues and P375 would be built on the same platform. It would really be disappointing if a full faired machine rattles on either high speeds or rough roads.

    If Bajaj could get in close to R15′s fit in terms of material quality (fairing built especially)… its a sure-shot hit.

    Pulsar is bang for bucks, I have the 200ns and it performs so well and it costed me just a bit more than 150cc bike make me feel happy.
    But I would like if Bajaj reduces seat height for this bike to atleast 780 mm, if Bajaj is hearing they should do it, its hard to get used to the 200ns 810 mm seat height and not to mention its heavy so if you lose balance due it is hard to recover and fall is almost unavoidable. I remeber i slipped when a marsh melon came and splattered under my rear tyre.

    I think this will be the Pulsar 370fs. It definetly needs abs because company is saying its topspeed will be 150 then this bike will atleast reach 165, so it needed an ABS option. I have 200ns and it have reached 146 top speed , the company is only saying 136. Its very cool bike I am getting 47kmpl average. While in long drive there is some back pain due to its hard rear suspension. And the vibration to footrests shoulb be problem. Performance ,handling and maintance is good…. SO I AM SURE THAT PULSAR 370 should be RockStar…….
