2014 Datsun GO Test Drive Review

The festive season is all about the joy of giving and auto manufacturers make sure to give out a ton of offers, discounts and freebies to lure more buyers into dealerships during the auspicious period. Now, making sure to capitalize on the festive season, Nissan India’s budget brand Datsun has announced special discounts and benefits on the GO hatchback providing savings to a total worth of Rs. 38,000/-.

The new special discounts and offers include benefits of up to Rs. 20,000/-, insurance support worth up to Rs. 4000/-, free extended warranty worth Rs. 4000/- and an additional discount of Rs. 10,000/- on the D, D1 and A variants of the GO hatchback. The special benefits however are available for a limited period only and customers will be able to avail the benefits till 31st October, 2014.

The GO hatchback is the first product to come out of Nissan’s sister brand Datsun and was launched earlier this year. The hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 HP of power and 104 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The GO competes against the Maruti Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and the likes in the entry-level hatchback space.
