Tata Motors is working hard to boost market share and plans to launch two new vehicles every year, along with existing model refreshes to attract more customers. The second all new car under the HORIZONEXT program is the Bolt (the first was the Zest which has met with success) and is set to be launched by the end of next month. Now Tata Motors has commenced online bookings of the vehicle and the booking amount is Rs. 11,000/-. The company claims the Bolt is “miles ahead of the competition in terms of Design, Drive and Connectivity”.

Online buying of vehicles is seeing an increase in trend as more people look at using the internet for shopping. Just recently, Hero started retailing its bikes on SnapDeal and managed to sell 700 units during the GOSF. Mahindra too has been selling its Scorpio online for quite a long time. Online booking adds to the convenience of buying a vehicle although the complete sale is done by the dealership, including further payments and other formalities. One can book their Tata Bolt by visiting HERE.

The Tata Bolt is the replacement to the Vista and shares many components with its sedan sibling, the Zest (which can also be booked online). Powering the Bolt is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine which has three driving modes while diesel duties are taken care by Fiat’s Multijet wonder, the 1.3-litre mill which is badged as Quadrajet by the Jaguar Land Rover owners. With class leading space and ride quality, along with a long list of equipment and expected aggressive pricing, the Bolt is set to be a hot seller just like the Zest. The Tata Bolt is offered in five colours – red, white, beige, silver and grey.
