Tata Motors conducts thorough tests to check their new products for compliance and satisfaction. The Bolt and Zest are huge leap ahead of other existing products.

2015 Tata Bolt Test Drive Review
A jury drive was conducted which included top Tata Motors officials

Tata Motors has been constantly trying to improve the quality of products that it produces and now the efforts are definitely showing. The Zest which was launched a few months back has managed quite a bit to improve things significantly for the automaker. While the Zest may not have been able to beat segment leader Maruti Swift DZire, it has surely managed to give some shivers to close rivals. The Zest has come across has a huge leap forward for Tata, at least when we compare it to previous products from the company.

Tata Motors has made use of better quality components in the Zest and apart from that, the manufacturer also conducts rigorous testing for its products. Vehicles go through an exhaustive 17-stage procedure right from the development stage through all production stages of components. The products also get tested for confirmation of tolerances. The company also conducted a jury drive where top officials from Tata Motors test drove cars to make sure they are satisfactory. Approximately 300 suppliers had come up with more than 600 parts and these parts were fitted in the cars over a period of five days and checked thoroughly for issues.

There is no denying to the fact that the Zest itself is a wonderful product but according to Tata, the Bolt is what they have learnt from the Zest and they have taken yet another step forward. The company is targeting the young audience with this vehicle and hence have added appropriate elements like sporty touches. The Revotron engine in the Bolt is the same unit as the Zest but is now tweaked so that performance is a bit more peppy. The hatch also gets a touchscreen system with navigation functionality. The Zest has helped Tata see a growth of 16% and the Bolt will just add significantly to that.
