The Vento Magnific will be available in Comfortline and Highline trims

The Volkswagen Vento was first launched in India in 2010. The German automaker then launched a slightly updated version of the mid-size sedan a couple of years down the line and then in 2014 another heavily updated model was launched. The latest version of the Vento comes with three engine options and a DSG transmission is also offered. The automaker has also launched many limited editions of the Vento and now the company has come up with the Vento Magnific Special Edition. The Vento Magnific comes with few extra features over and above the regular Vento models. Such limited editions will help in keep sales going until the next facelift of the vehicle gets launched, which is expected in August this year.

The Volkswagen Vento Magnific Special Edition is offered in Comfortline and Highline trims. In Comfortline trim, the sedan gets alloy wheels, Garmin navigation device and scuff plates along with Vento Magnific badging while in the Highline trim the vehicle will come equipped with a Blaupunkt infotainment system with Android tablets provided at the rear and also offering 3G connectivity. Airbags continue to remain standard on all variants of the Vento. The Vento Magnific Special Edition will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

Volkswagen has had a good run this year in terms of sales. The updated Polo has been well-received by buyers and both the GT models are hot-selling. The company also launched the new Jetta recently. All in all, Volkswagen India registered a 10 percent growth in sales YoY as compared to February 2014. The auto giant sold 3853 units in February 2015. Before the Vento Magnific, the company used to offer the Vento Konekt as a similar limited edition model. The Volkswagen Vento Magnific Special Edition will hit the showrooms on 10th March and the prices will be announced then.
