Hyundai will be launching the highly awaited Creta compact SUV next month and some clear shots of the vehicle have just surfaced. It looks the part and is well equipped too and can be seen around a Ford EcoSport.

Hyundai Creta
Butch looks of the Hyundai Creta will be a hit amongst customers

Hyundai has got the formula right in India since the past few years. Cars loaded with features and a not-so-sober design with decent engines is what sells in India. Having started doing just that ever since the launch of the first generation i20, the Korean giant has gained big times in terms of volumes and reputation. With the runaway successes that most of the cars in its portfolio are, we are eagerly awaiting the Creta which belongs to the compact SUV segment Hyundai is entering finally. The car looks excellent and will feature class leading equipment levels with powerful engines.

While the Hyundai Creta has been on test in India since some time, clear pictures of the same were not available. Recently, the car was clicked at what looks like a Hyundai India premise for training dealership employees. The vehicle wears the beautiful red colour which suits and accentuates the looks of the SUV. But, this does not look like the top-end variant considering chrome door handles and 17-inch diamond cut alloys are missing. The chrome strip on the bootlid looks a bit cheesy but then Indian customers love their bling.

Interiors get the much preferred beige and black combination with the lighter area prone to getting dirty. The beige adds roominess to the Creta making the cabin a nice place to be in. Touchscreen audio system seems to be present but whether it will feature navigation or not still remains a question. Projector headlamps with integrated DRLs look stunning, so do the black elements on both the bumpers. The three slat chrome grille adds that touch of chrome the front-end needs and luckily Hyundai hasn’t gone overboard with it. We are eagerly waiting for the launch of the Creta now and would like to see the difference it makes to Hyundai India’s sales numbers.
