2015 Tata Nano GenX Review
The 20 customers will also get a birth certificate for their Nano once it rolls off the line

Tata Motors is bullish about getting its most ambitious project, the Nano right even after a series of misses. The entry-level hatchback saw a major upgrade this year in the form of the new ‘GenX’ version which saw a revised design, new openable boot-lid and the inclusion of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) to boost the city car’s appeal. The automaker also commenced several marketing activities including the 1+1 exchange program for existing customers to bring in sales. Making the purchase of its entry-level offering further exciting, the Indian auto giant has now introduced the ‘The Chosen Ones’ campaign adding interest to the vehicle further.

Under the Chosen Ones campaign, 20 lucky customers will get the opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to visit Tata Motors’ Sanand plant in Gujarat and witness the roll out of their own Nano cars on the assembly line. The campaign goes live from today and will end on 18th June 2015. Prospective customers can participate in the campaign by booking the Nano GenX during the contest period at their nearest Tata dealership. The customers will then receive an SMS asking them to state the reason as to why they would like to win a trip to the Sanand facility to see their booked cars roll-off the assembly line. The winners will be announced on 24th June while the trip is scheduled to be conducted on 7th July 2015.

In addition to visiting the manufacturing facility, customers will receive a birth certificate for their car at the plant, making the trip even more memorable. Launched at a starting price of Rs. 1.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Nano GenX is powered by a 624cc twin-cylinder petrol engine that produces 38 PS and 51 Nm of torque. The contest is eligible for all existing customers who have already booked the car as well as for new ones who book the XT and XTA variants. The contest is applicable across all states in the country, save for Tamil Nadu and Union Territory Pondicherry.
