The free goodies and discounts are only for customers who book the Mahindra Mojo prior to the official launch and is a lucrative way to gain more footfalls.

Mahindra 2-Wheelers is finally ready to launch the ‘Mojo’ later this month in the country and is making sure to leave no stone unturned to call its five years of effort a success. If you are seriously considering the Mojo to be a part of your stable, you would want to hurry up a bit. Treating its early bird customers, Mahindra is offering discounts worth Rs. 20,000/- on the Mojo for pre-bookers along with a free helmet and riding jacket. The bike will be priced under Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom).

While the helmet and jacket are add-ons, the Rs. 20,000/- worth discount is definitely lucrative and could compel several prospective customers to at least book the tourer. We also hear Mahindra dealerships are offering test rides, so it’s not like buyers are going in for the product blindly. The test rides though are only available in four cities at present including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Pune.

Doing a quick recap on the specifications, the 2015 Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 299cc single-cylinder engine churning out 27 BHP and 29 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes with USD front forks and a monoshock setup at the rear while braking performance comes courtesy of 320 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes.

One of the interesting bits on the Mahindra Mojo is the instrument cluster that comes loaded with a host of information along with the tank mounted ignition key and twin exhausts. Mahindra has commenced promoting the Mojo on its social media channels while the official website is now live and quite interestingly gives you a glimpse at the automaker’s team behind the development of the flagship offering.
