Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar AS 150 in Turkey after the 200 NS and RS 200. The AS 150 is the most affordable Pulsar offering in Turkey.

Indian bike manufacturer Bajaj had showcased the Pulsar AS 150 in Turkey but launched the bike first in India. The company has now launched the bike in Turkey too. The Pulsar AS 150 is being marketed as a bike that can be used both during your daily errands as well as leisure rides. Bajaj is targeting the youth and the younger age groups of Turkey with this bike.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 comes with sporty yet rugged styling elements. The bike has a very pleasant design that looks very appealing. Offered in three colours – red, blue and black, the AS 150 has been launched in Turkey at a price of TRY 6990 which translates to Rs. 1.58 lakhs. Apart from Bajaj Auto, one more Indian manufacturer sells its products in Turkey and it is none other than Hero MotoCorp who sells the 150cc Thriller (Xtreme) bike in the country.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS 150 is powered by a 150cc, dual-spark, air-cooled, DTS-i engine that pumps out 17 HP of power at 9500 RPM and 13 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The manufacturer claims that this is the fastest 150cc bike. The AS 150 comes with features like projector headlights, perimeter frame and a Nitrox mono suspension. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.

The Pulsar AS 150 has been well received in India since launch. Bajaj recorded sales of 30,000 units of the AS series right from its launch to September, i.e four months. The motorbike is being manufactured in Chakan, Pune and exported to the eastern European market. The Pulsar 200 NS and RS 200 are also available in Turkey and the AS 150 is the most affordable Pulsar in the country.
