The Huracan Spyder has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 3.89 crore

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has just launched the Huracan Spyder in India and the vehicle is priced at Rs. 3.89 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Huracan Spyder is a topless version of the regular Huracan and it combines mind-blowing performance along with open air motoring. The Huracan Spyder made its first public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015.

The car continues to retain a lot of styling elements of the regular Huracan but the Spyder also gets a lightweight electro hydraulic soft top. The soft top is offered in 3 colours – brown, black and red. It also gets hidden automatic pop-up safety bars. It takes 17 seconds to open and close the roof and it can be done at speeds up to 50 km/hr.

The Huracan comes with a lightweight chassis made up of aluminium front and rear components and a lot of carbon fibre bits. The chassis is also 40% stiffer than the Gallardo Spyder. The Huracan also has a very low drag coefficient with the roof closed and it can cut off almost all the wind noise too.

The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that unleashes 610 HP of power and 560 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox and it goes from 0-100 km/hr in just 3.4 seconds. Apart from the Huracan Spyder, Lamborghini also offers the Huracan LP610-4 and LP580-2 coupes in India.
