A complete feature list of the upcoming Honda Jazz has been leaked with variant details.

The Jazz has always been a more premium hatchback offering from Honda but the feature list didn’t justify the price it was sold at. Honda will be launching the facelift version of the car on 19th July 2018 and the 2018 Honda Jazz features have been leaked ahead of launch. The car will be coming in three variants – S, V and VX.

On the exterior, the vehicle is slated to get a new bumper, new tail lamps, chrome door handles and new colour options. The new colour options will be the Radiant Red and Lunar Silver which have been directly carried over from the recently launched Honda Amaze.

The feature list is where the real changes will be happening. The base variant S will now get rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock, front arm rest and driver and passenger side vanity mirrors. The middle variant V, in addition, will get chrome outer door handles and paddle shifters (CVT only) while the CVT and diesel trims will get cruise control, smart trunk lock with key release, Honda smart key system and a start/stop button with White and Red illumination.

The range topping VX variant will get the 7.0-inch Digipad 2.0 infotainment system with capacitive touchscreen, smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, IR remote control and LED tail lights. Owing to poor demand, Honda has decided to omit the magic seats altogether. Safety features like ABS with EBD and airbags will be standard across all variants.

There will be 2 engine options, the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel with no changes to the power and torque figures. The petrol engine will be offered in only the V and VX variants with an option to get a CVT or a manual transmission.

Looking at the 2018 Honda Jazz features, it is immediately apparent that the car has been loaded with the competition in mind. Honda has listened to the customer’s demands and have delivered. Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20 are Jazz’s direct competitors and come equally well loaded.
