The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 32 lakhs (ex-showroom). The SUV is available only with a petrol engine and comes in a single trim only. Bookings for the vehicle have commenced across Mitsubishi dealerships in India and test drives will be available in the coming weeks.

In terms of styling, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander sports the new Dynamic Shield design with a chrome abundant grille flanked by LED headlights with LED DRLs. The SUV runs on 16-inch alloy wheels and gets LED tail-lights and a dual-tone bumper at the rear. The interior too has been completely redesigned with a new 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, new instrument console and a new 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard is finished in all-black with piano black finishes in the centre console. Features on offer include an electric sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamp, leather upholstery, Rockford Fosgate Premium sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, electric parking brake with auto hold function and push-button start.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, for now, comes powered by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 167 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 222 Nm of torque at 4100 RPM. The powertrain comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission with Multi Select 4WD. Claimed 0-100 km/hr time is 11.1 seconds. The SUV rivals the Honda CR-V.
