Bajaj Auto To Hike Motorcycle Prices

Bajaj Discover 125ST Launch

With the Rupee depreciating, the cost of the raw materials is bound to rise. Thus, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if the automakers increase the prices of their products. Bajaj Auto, is already in the same lines and has announced a possible price increase of its products. The company has quoted high input costs. The motorcycle industry is already a localized market. The companies import certain parts only when they see a cost advantage.

“Definitely we are seeing a pressure on raw materials, because raw materials are usually corrected to the dollar rate. Some cost increases or price increases may be around the corner,” K Srinivas, President, Bajaj Auto, said.

Bajaj Auto recently launched the Pulsar 200 NS in Delhi and is expected to launch its latest and flagship motorcycle in other cities in the country as well. The Pulsar 200 NS will most likely not see a price hike. It is expected that most of two and four-wheeler companies will move towards a small price hike as the dollar depreciation has hit them hard. However some companies have chosen not to hike prices as the market sentiment is already low. These companies are offsetting loses by increasing export activities.

@Naveen: Seems you the only wise man on this earth. Being a critic is very easy rather being a bit generous and appreciating the way the things are. You can only introspect if you are one of the brain behind this Magical machine and if you aint then please keep mum. There are plenty of other forums where you can probably make these unruly statements but certainly not this one.

Motorbeam: I would request you to keep an eye on people who are unnecessarily trying to tamper someones image and I hope motorbeam is certainly for the masses who are matured enough to display their views in a better sense and not for those who have nothing to do irrespective of making filthy comments.
    Thank you!!!

Neil, hes the same person posting with different names. Hes a fanboy of zeromotocorp & is frustated to see Bajaj’s next gen bikes featuring 10times more quality and 1000times more technology than zero.
If @faisal sir had banned his ip, there were no comments like this. Just ignore these craps.

@ Viky … Honda initially made good quality bikes for market gain but their latest bikes also same quality as Bajaj all are running for volumes & profits. bajaj makes more profits bcoz they are Indians (less tax to pay for govt) & Honda is japanese (more tax to pay for govt).
Honda & bajaj makes parts from same vendors & same machines so no question of quality different.
the only different is cheap minded people like you which still believes that Honda has good quality… LOL grow up fools… Honda are here to do business not for “SAMAJ SEVA”……
