Here goes the future in hands of masses….well done Bajaj. This is the amazing moment for every bike enthusiast. Bajaj has taught others a lesson or two and shown how it is to be done. 94K for a bike with every possible aspect fulfilled that a biker can dream of has left people spell bounded.
Manufacturers must learn few but very important things from ‘The Bajaj’. How many of the people India knew there was a company by the name ‘KTM’ how many knew that Kawasaki’s are as damn good as hondas. This is what they have brought to us a big grin :).
Now the jindals will be scratching their heads and TVS on a verge of suicide.
Fantastic, I as an Indian feel proud and happy to see the future. A rocket launch next!!!

Abhisek June 7, 2012 at 10:46 pm
I thought the display color is orange but it is yellow. Looks much better than orange :)
Loved the console. A very important part for a bike I like.
Nitin June 7, 2012 at 10:54 pm
The problem with Bajaj was quality. Looks was never really a problem.
Let’s wait and see how it goes with this one!

Honda vs Bajaj: Honda leads in May 2012 sales
From the month of March, the war of second spot in Domestic two wheeler market has begun between Bajaj and Honda. Honda displaced Bajaj in the month of March and Bajaj displaced Honda in the month of April. For the month of May again Honda has displaced Bajaj Auto from the second spot. Although we do not have exact figure of domestic sales, some brokerage research houses claimed that HMSI has regained its second position.
Bajaj Auto has sold 3,21,922 units in the month of May 2012 compared to 3,17,989 units in the month of May 2011, thereby registering growth of 1.21%. The figure of 3,21,922 units is including export. It means that the company has sold around 1,90,000 to 2,00,000 motorcycles in the domestic market in the month of May 2012. HMSI has sold 2,21,540 units (including export) of two wheelers in May 2012 up by 52.02% compared to 1,45,729 units in the May 2011. The company has sold in access of 2,10,000 units in the domestic market in the month of May 2012. As always HMSI major growth is coming from the increased sales of Activa. The company has sold 1,26,033 units of scooter in May 2012 up by 65.31% compared to 76,241 units in the month of May 2011.
Bajaj Vs Honda in 2012
As expected Honda and Bajaj has neck to neck competition for the rest of the year also. From this month HMSI has Dream Yuga and Bajaj Auto has new Pulsar 200NS and Discover 125 ST in the domestic market. HMSI has potential to take on Bajaj Auto if Dream Yuga achieves its target sale of 30,000 units a month. However, at some point of time, capacity constrain will play on and for the entire year it would be difficult for HMSI to displace Bajaj Auto from the second spot at least for the financial year 2012-13.
Aryan June 8, 2012 at 5:57 pm
If u compare Profits of Bajaj v/s Honda even v/s Hero Baja earns more than others ……… as long as Bajaj earns more than others there is no reason to panic., even though Hero sells 2 times more bikes than bajaj.
Leandro June 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm
Have you guys noticed that the production model is missing the center/main stand? that really bothers me if indeed they’re going to get rid of it since it makes life so much easier when doing regular chain maintenance and changing tyres, sprockets and such.
Pulsarboy June 9, 2012 at 3:36 am
I guess you need to buy a paddock stand if you are doing it yourself. SVC’s will anyway have these paddock stands, wait a minute, may be not all, but I’ve seen them in all the probiking centres i’ve been to.
Leandro June 9, 2012 at 12:42 pm
Yeah, the bike doesn’t arrive to my country until december 2012 or even june 2013 but still here I am looking for a paddock stand already LOL.
Faisal Khan June 14, 2012 at 8:16 pm
Leandro, which country do you live in?
Leandro June 14, 2012 at 8:25 pm
I’m from Colombia mate.
shikaib July 3, 2012 at 2:33 pm
Its depends on you you can fit middle stand urself.
Saad June 9, 2012 at 2:30 pm
Wish Bajaj consider a point about replacing Eurogrips..
As with all Pulsars, this bike will sell big time. And considering the underpinings are KTM inspired, P200NS must be reliable as well.
ASHISH June 12, 2012 at 3:24 pm

The design of the bike is awesome.
Bajaj should work on their stickers to make more attractive.
And they should make the bikes available all the seven colurs
jobs September 17, 2012 at 3:21 pm
I love this yellow colour and excellent design.
