The Bajaj Pulsar gets yet another variant in the form of the 220 S. The S stands for street like the F stands for faired. The new 220 variant is the evil twin of the now defunct Pulsar 200. At Rs. 76,000/- the Pulsar 220 S costs Rs. 3000 less than its F sibling. Everything else remains the same except the headlight and the exhaust canister. Many enthusiasts are not impressed with the 220 S, but at this price point other manufacturers are offering 150cc machines.

i have purchased the pulsar 220 SF.
it is a very good bike and is a very good value for money at 78670 on road in pune.
it is cheaper than 220 F and has the same or even more performance due to reduced weight.
there’s no need to get confused.
see those who liked the old pulsar 200,and want to own it should buy a 220SF as the 200 is discontinued now.
the 220 SF looks same like the 200 (except the rear disk brake) and has more power.

WE all can say FASTEST SEXY INDIAN is BACK in new ‘OLDer look P200? with some extra goodies of clip on,wider forks,Rear disk brakes,New 3d stickers,21PS,new Engine guard etc.. in the FORM of 2010 New P220 DTS-i S”i.e. MOST POPULAR Bike/most SALABLE bike of BAJAJ history…P200!!!!
This is what PEOPLE were expecting long time back n would LOVE to see ….on OLD P200 cherish upgrade…going to take birth from BAJAJ’s stable…!!
.. but again I here feel sad for myself and gone a CRY ..u know why ..Guess guys…??!!
The ANSWER is that with this launch of ‘P220 DTS-i S’,I’ve lost now uniqueness and glory of my current(owned) Beauty of P200 DTS-i BLUE model(1.6 yrs old) which was upgraded by me to this look and is been riding proudly for last 4-5 months…
That is the way my bike was looking to be different(with the upgraded features of wider 180/220F forks,clip on handle bars 180/200 and PULSAR 3D new stickers…!!!).
Only rear disk brake was lagging and 20 cc,some extra power odd 3ps and max speed of fasted Indian…!!
But to achieve this my unique desire LOOK,I’ve spent much more buks in this upgrade which is(upgrade COSTing) very much greater what we can get in new buying delivery if P220 DTS-i S…….!!as I said wider forks,clip on handle bars,200+20=220 more ccs with more Power of 21 PS and
last but not the least FASTEST SEXY INDIAN with more SPEED tag as P220 S offered with weight less than P220F
and with the killers look of discontinued P200…!!
This would have been REALLY ROCKed only if HEADlight design had been changed in some innovative way..!!! But again we never know whether BAJAJ might introduce this in new P200/P250/P300 launch….!!!

Yesterday, I went to the Bangalore pr0-biking showroom to checkout the 220 S. The black one looked really neat. I think that it is real VFM.

seeing p150,180 upgrade n p200 and no its p220SF bajaj will again with its R&D bring another upgraded pulsar either looking not on another new search motor that bring change in indian market as pulsar had done in past years.New 2220sf is good but should a person put its bucks who already had p200.as its make no difference from some far between p2220sf and p200.
