The naked version of the Bajaj Pulsar 220 will be launched by the end of this month but you can check out the bike even before it hits the probiking showrooms. The Bajaj Pulsar 220 S is essentially a Pulsar 220 with the front of a Pulsar 200. Everything else remains the same, the engine, the specs and the tyres. Apart from a different exhaust and a slightly faster and zippier performance (thanks to being lighter), the cheaper version of the 220 (@ Rs. 73,000/-) is sure to please 200 fans.

Chetan, no FI. This is the same carb engine from the 220.

bajaj has really disappointed me this time,,, as i heard the news that it’s launching a naked version of 220,, i thought it would be a proper naked version with broader rear tyres, monoshock rear suspension, changed headlight, a bigger or huge looking petrol tank, a not so huge rear mud guard. and few more such physical changes,,, i am a huge fan of pulsars , i have one of the first pulsar 150 with round headlight.. i dont like the headlight of current pulsars,,,
so, i was waiting for such pulsar as i described above,,the performance part of current pulsar 220 is good for me but what i want from pulsar is ,,looks like ducati monsters or ducati streetfighters. hope bajaj is listening .m attaching some links of ducati streetfighters pics.

There is no difference between the Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220 naked version ….. I thought it will be real street racer….

hii…iam interested in this bike…but iam confused between pulsar 220 s or 180..i shud want a decent mileage abt 40kmpl….will this pulsar 220 offer my xpectation??i drive in the normal way…with decent gear shift.. i have planned to buy pulsar 180 only for the mileage…if pulsar 220 offers the same..i will go with that and i also want to kno whether this pulsar can be attached with a kicker???hey one more thng….can v put K&N air filter n iridium spark plugs to the byk…??and also suggest some modifications whch hav to be done…with their costs…pls clear…(Fas..help me dude..)

IRC Tyre is good for the new 220… u get good road grip u can bend the bike u get good control of the bike…

nd can v fit hid kit(headlights) in 220(naked),as it can be fitted into 220(semifearing) due to presence of projector lens??

I own the BAJAJ PULSAR220 and its a rocking bike….adn it has got iRC tyres which are directly imported from Thailand….superb grip…
