Bajaj Auto has very quietly launched the upgraded Pulsar 150 and upgraded Pulsar 180. The 2009 Edition Pulsar 150 and 180 have so little changes in them, that Bajaj felt shy of making an official announcement. However the dealers confirmed that the bikes have been launched and we will be getting our hands on them soon. Stay tuned.

Steven, both bikes will give you equally good performance and reliability. However I would suggest you get the GS150R. The Suzuki is new and has all the features which are seen in the segment which the Honda lacks.

sir, i am looking for a 150cc bike which is good at performance and good at looks & average particularly . i have got choices of unicorn , hunk GS150 & my budget can exceed up to a max. of Rs. 65,000 to 67,000. Suggest which would be the best for me which can be used for 4 to 5 years without any loss in performance. Also inform me if any new bike of my budget is about to launch or not or i must wait a little more.

Gagan, for your requirements, I would suggest you get the Suzuki GS150R. It will serve you well for 5 years without any loss in performance. There are no new bikes expected. Yamaha launched the Fazer day before yesterday, which is also a good alternative.

Sir, I have finally decided to buy Pulsar 180 cc next week…Earlier I was thinking of Pulsar 150, but since it is one time investment i better thought of 180, coz they differ marginally (mileage wise !!) Sir I want to know if it is a good choice?? And also wat would be its mileage in city conditions, given that i maintain it well ??

hi, i’m confused between pulsar 150& 180. I like 180, but for me mileage plays a big role. My usage is roughly 40-50kms/day and out of it 80-85% will b on highway, n d rest in city limits, tat too in a city like Mysore, where traffic isnt a big issue.. so can anyone help me out..? A rough mileage of 150 & 180 depending on my above usage wil b very helpful…

    Thank U,
