I am 29 years old having my own business (I am an importer of medical equipments and supply them to hospitals, it even helps me get quick admissions in hospitals after a crash, LOL). I am a bike fanatic from the day I remember I could balance myself on 2 wheels! The max kilometers I have done in a day is 650kms and I do this quite often as I have a factory in Goa so I take my bike with me there every 2/3 months. Even when I am in Bombay I travel about 90kms daily. I am currently owning a Pulsar 220 Fi which I have modified at home with my very hands. I have painted the bike matte black in colour, drew the design on vinyl (the complete graphic consist of 4 layers). Both the front and rear mudguard have been cut to give it a bit of sportiness, superman tyres 140/17 in the rear, IRC 120/17 in the front, K&N 2070, Renthal gold plated chain, NGK Iridium spark plugs.
I wont trade my bike for anything else but wouldn’t mind goin for a Ninja 250R as an extra bike. I am planning to buy a Suzuki GSX 600R next year. I had a Yamaha TZR 250SE which I sold off because of a bad crash and couldn’t get the spares for it. The fastest I have been on a motorcycle is 180kmph on the speedo of this bike. Infact I used to do approx 140kmph every single day I rode this bike! The nastiest thing I must have done must be a wheelie on a GSX 1000 over 160km on Mumbai roads and believe me I saw the devil himself! I was very scared. Infact that is my dream bike a SUZUKI GSX 1000R. I knew the day I rode this bike for the first time that even if I die on this, I would meet the lord with a huge smile on my face!
Apart from my speeding stories I am a rider who belives in protection and never ride without proper gear. I value other peoples life even if they think I don’t value mine and choose to speed only when I think i can do it safely. It would be a lie if I told u I don’t indulge in roadrace, though I know its stupid and dangerous but I try to avoid it as much as possible.

hi sonu,m quite impressed by ur work nd especially a businessman doing the stickering n stuff with his own hands hold a different value..i always wanted to change front n rear tyres of d byk..changin the rear tyres doesnt seem to be havin ne problem but ive heard dat changing the front tyre decreases d pick-up n fuel efficiency of d byk..is dat true?? n lastly ur 220 will luk even more better if u change in2 mono-shocks n d silencer pipe from beneath d seat….happy ridin biker boy!!!

I cant say much about the modification of the bike but one thing I would like to appreciate that Sonu didn’t forget to mention the importance of safety while riding a bike and that he respects the lives of other also

Hey dude………nice work ……I agree wid sunny bos, business men doing these kind of work ….n that too at home.surprising but this clearly visualizes your passion for the bike ….great deal of effort . Can you tel one thing after switching off to K&N 2070 filter …….whats the improvement in bike…in terms of speed , or increase in BHP , ……
Even I got P220 juz month old n thinking of changing to K & N filter …but dont know what exactly is the output…………

Thanks guys for your replies, my bussiness is just something that i do for a living, but bikes r what i live for !!Thank you bike bhp but safety is for our own gud, c the safer we ride the longer we live & the longer we live the longer we’ll RIDE !!!
Rayan, the k&n not only increases the performance but also smoothes out the engine quite a bit. Though you will get the max performance out only when you equip your bike with a freeflow which our law doesnt permit. I would suggest you to have a word with the Probiking guys before you fit a k&N at this point coz it might void your warranty. Also you will either have to cut the air filter box a bit to fit the filter or remove the box completely.You could also try the Bosch twin electrode spark plugs for a refined power delivery.This is much cheaper (Rs 120/- per plug) & i found it better for the 220 than the NGK irridium (Rs 500/- per plug)

Hey Kodieswar, would be going in for a second hand bike first but not sure where ill get it from coz im really gonna see a lot of bike before i buy my baby. U know its like marraige you have to get some1 you really like and can bond with it !! Will surely let you guys know when i get 1 coz even that baby will be experimented on just like this bike,i just hope you guys c my nu bike on a page like this again.

Hey ash, the reason im not puttin in a full faring is becoz 1st it will put on extra weight on the bike & 2nd coz our bike engines in india depend majorly on air for cooling & even though the 220 has a oil cooler if i block the airflow, the engine will heat up pretty fast. Anyways thanks for the suggestion,i really appreciate it

bikes . i to modify bikes also . yrs bikes colour should be a combitation of orange,white & black .alloy should be totally orange . hav u saw nikey hydens honda repsol.once look it . it is looking but it will look better after that….
