Ducati has launched the Diavel in India. The latest motorcycle from the Ducati stable is available in three variants, the Diavel Standard, Diavel Carbon and Diavel Carbon Red. This Italian muscle bike features ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes (Urban, Sports and Touring). The 1198cc, L-twin Testastretta engine produces 162hp of power at 9500rpm and 13kgm of torque at 8000rpm. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the Diavel weighs just 207 kgs. The Diavel features a specially engineered 240 section rear tyre with the Carbon variants getting carbon fibre bodywork to forged and specially machined Marchesini wheels. Prices for the Ducati Diavel starts at Rs. 17 lakhs for the base variant, the Carbon variant is priced at Rs. 22.06 lakh whereas the top of the line Carbon Red is available for Rs, 22.43 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

“The Diavel is, without any doubt, the most exciting innovation in the Ducati 2011 line because it represents a new concept of motorcycle. It is a naked bike because it is essential, light and agile; a cruiser because it is imposing and also comfortable with a passenger; and a sports bike because it has a powerful heart, muscles, and levels of performance that take your breath away. Until now, no segment has ever captured these characteristics in just one motorcycle,” Mr. Mirko Bordiga, CEO DUCATI Asia Pacific, said.

@vik bro! ur ri8 that yamaha is very gud but not the best this bike is looking like yamaha v-max but agaianst ducati its a little baby.nd hope u notice the speed-o-meter of ducati and v-max meter its big difference.nd yamaha is one the company who gives very expansive bike frm other japanese bike company.nd example is here yamaha r-15 what’s the thing in that bike all guys like i don’t know.they give just 150cc bike nd taking money like 1 lakh rupees.indian guys want model they don’t think about money in 64 thousand u get japanese company’s suzuki GS 150 nd they give more pick-up,more avereage frm yamaha.
