Ducati has officially set shop in India some time back and one of their most affordable bikes is the Monster 796. Available in Ducati showrooms across the country, the Moster 796 is priced at Rs. 8 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike is powered by a 803cc engine is a L-twin cylinder, air cooled, 2 valve per cylinder which produces 87hp of power at 8250 RPM and 8kgm of torque at 6250 RPM. With a tubular steel Trellis frame and a 6-speed gearbox, this Ducati motorcycle has 120/70 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso upfront and 180/55 ZR 17 at the rear. A 167 kg weight with ABS ensures the Monster is not as monstrous in the corners. And yes, Ducati sells 70% Monster bikes from its stable.
