Harley Davidson Launches Motorcycles In India

Harley Davidson has formally entered the India market with the launch of 5 motorcycles namely the Night Rod Special, Fat Boy, customized Legend Harley and 883cc Roadster. The bike will be available from next year onwards and are priced between 12 – 14 lakhs. Harley Davidson India has started allocating dealers and the construction of the Indian subsiday plant is already underway at Gurgaon.

“Our mission was to lay a strong base in India to help play a long innings. India is a vital part of company’s expansions plan which now is getting global,” Harley Davidson chief operating officer Matthew Levatich said.

    why all company’s are running for the Rs100000.00 or higher price tag… don’t u think that its better to get any thing between 400cc to 600cc and at the price between 4 to 5 lakh.. as we know all this bikes are CBU ..so plz guys get something chipper for us :)

    Prabhat, the problem is the Government is not so easy on 400cc and 600cc bikes to protect the interest of domestic bike manufacturers. Thus we are seeing only 1000cc and above superbikes.
