Looks like Hero Honda has cut down their marketing budget big time after the split from its Japanese partner. The company has quietly launched the new CBZ Xtreme, which now comes with a host of new features (read – not only sticker jobs). The bike is powered by the same 150cc air-cooled motor, which produces 14.4 PS of power and 12.80 Nm of torque. The 2011 CBZ Xtreme is priced at Rs. 72,247/- (on-road, Mumbai), Rs. 68,942/- (on-road, Delhi) and Rs. 73,155/- (on-road, Bangalore). The CBZ Xtreme is available in digital silver, flaming orange, sports red, max brown and panther black colours.

No turn indicators like previous versions, or scooter like indicators, looks very femalish, in some situations indicators flashing does not show for which side.

CBZ is going to be like moped version 2.0

Bharath April 25, 2011 at 2:40 pm

I hate CBZ Xtreme, but now i like the new one. The new CBZ Xtreme looks far better than pulsar 150 or dazzler. Moreover, CBZ has smooth engines and good service from HH, not like a vibrator like apache or blind eyed services given at Yamaha.

Atlast Hero Honda has done some good job, by creating new designs to its old horse. Kicker could have been retained.

New CBZ is nice one. I was waiting for this model for long time. Recent inclusion of digital milo meter is good one. The best part is the blinkers (front and rear both) are attached with the body. Only drawback is there is no kick start. This could give trouble when battery gets discharged.
