As part of the celebrations, HH will soon be offering goodies on the low end models and launch the much anticipated bigger Karizma.
Hero Honda completed 25 years of operation In India and as part of the celebrations, they will soon be offering goodies on the low end models. This will include offers like free electric start for the 100cc bikes.
We are also told that an upgraded Karizma is ready with a slight hike in engine capacity and fuel injection. But Hero Honda wont be launching this soon. Sources say that they are waiting for Honda to come out with their superbikes (Fireblade, CBR) and only then will HH go ahead and launch the new Karizma.
“In our silver jubilee year, we aim to clock the highest sales in our history. We have pushed up our production and are aiming retail sales of 6-lakh units, which is much higher than our sales in October 2006, when we had sold around 5-lakh units. We expect our October sales to be the highest ever.” says Hero Honda managing director Pawan Munjal.
In the meantime, a new CBZ Xtreme is also lined up for launch with a new paint scheme and Hero Honda plan to launch 7 new models this festive season to achieve their sales target of 6-lakh units.

Well Noufal, the news is old, HH still hasn’t launched the new Karizma. Seems like Yamaha, Bajaj and now TVS will eat up Karizma sales.

Hi folks..
I have been waiting for new KARIZMA FI since ages!!! No confirmed news yet.I have postponed the buying decision for the very reason.
Looking at Bajaj- They keep coming with new models every now and then. The owner of the previous version must always be regretting since its a kind of cheating on Company’s side towards the customer as he would have waited for the new thing. eg. Pulsar classic-180/DTSI/Digital DTSI/Black theme only in 180/now in 150 as well/200 CC/almost same model as 200-180(2009 edition)/220 FI/220-2009 edition…I can specify smallest of details to differentiate…Poor Loyal BAJAJ customers…Bajaj should think once and for all and give the best in the first place.
Karizma the ruler has stayed there and stayed strong at that!!!
HH Guys…Pleeeeeeeese issue some clue at least about the arrival of the version 3.0 soon!!!!

Sandeep, HH have no plans to launch a new Karizma in the near future. Forget FI, you will get some new stickers. Its pointless waiting. I was waiting too but wait never seems to get over as HH is busy making 100cc bikes. If you don’t like Bajaj, go for Yamaha.

I HAVE DESIGNED MUCH BETTER TYPE IN MY KARIZMA COMPARED TO ZMR . IT DOESN’T LOOK GOOD TO ME , TRY TO INTRODUCE A NEW MODEL TO STICK IN MARKET . HERO HONDA IS NOT USING THE DIGITAL METER NOWW ALL THE COMPANIES ARE USING IT .
