New Honda Activa Launched

Honda Motorccles India has launched the new Activa. The new Honda Activa gets a redesigned front and rear section. The front styling has been redesigned with new headlamps. Rear gets clear lens turn indicators. Honda has used impact resistant ABS plastic panels to reduce the overall weight of the new Activa. The new Activa is powered by 109cc 4-stroke engine pumping out 8bhp at 7500rpm and 0.9Kgm at 5500rpm. The fuel tank capacity has been reduced to 5.3 liters.

New Activa comes with kick and self start option. One of the prominent features of the Activa is Combined Braking System (CBS). Honda CBS is a safety system that balances the engagement of both front and rear brakes. CBS automatically applies front brakes whenever the rear brake is operated. Other than the styling and engine change, the new Activa gets comfort features like larger 18 liter storage space, optional inner/optional glove box, key shutter and rear tuff-up tube.

The new Activa is available in six colours – geny grey, metallic, candy lucid red, black, force silver metallic, wild purple metallic and pearl sunbeam white. The new Activa comes in two variants – standard and deluxe. The new Activa is priced at Rs. 39,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the standard variant. The deluxe variant will come with Combined Braking System and will be launched soon. Punchline fot the new Activa is “Joy ON & ON”.
