When Honda arrives in any segment, it does with style and the 100cc segment is no different. Their next bike, a 110cc commuter is christened the CB Twister (snapped by BSMotoring) and carries the philosophy of style, features and a high price tag forward from the CBF Stunner. The CB Twister boasts of some never seen before features in a 100-125cc segment bike including six spoke alloy rims, disc brakes, stylish exhaust, split grab rails, open chain, non-functional air scoops and glossy paint. This bike will see its national launch at the upcoming Auto Expo in January, 2010.

With this bike Honda will do at least two things; a) Cannibalize the Hero Honda’s stake. b) Will lead with this bike as flagship product.

If this bike is priced at 52000 as is being speculated, I wonder how many will be interested in buying a 110cc bike for 50k+

the bike is too good. as i had take ride on many bikes. If i compare this with other bikes in 110 CC segment. CB Twister is the coolest bike, I had ever used.
but there are two things which are misplaced in it. One it the passing indicator switch and second thing is a stylish Handle.
If Honda will include these two things in CB Twister. i think In 110 CC segment, this will be the Best bike of the year.
Compliment to Honda for CB Twister.

Has anybody had any issues with the open chain? I am just curious as this is the only reason I am hesitating in buying this bike. How safe is it for the pillon rider? Have there been any cases of loose clothes being pulled in? Will it not cause the chain and sprocket to wear because of poor lubrication and grit getting in?

Rico, most Indian bikes have open chain so you need not worry about it. Go buy the bike.
