Honda has unveiled the CB150R Streetfire motorcycle at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show. This new motorcycle will be launched in the Indonesian market soon and is meant for the Asian market only. It does draw some styling inspiration from the CB Dazzler, with the exposed frame and engine. However, more than the styling inspiration, the CB150R Streetfire shares its hardware with the CBR150R. The Honda CB150R Streetfire was showcased in 4 colors at the show – white, black, tricolor and orange (with accessories).
The Honda CB150R Streetfire is the naked version of the Honda CBR150R, which is already on sale in the Indian market. The lack of full fairing and other expensive styling elements gives the CB150R Streetfire quite a price advantage. Power comes from the same 150cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine which produces a peak power output of 17.6 BHP at 10,500 RPM and peak torque output of 12.66 NM at 8500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Honda CB150R has the same telescopic forks at the front and linked suspension at the rear like the CBR150R.
The styling of the Honda CB150R gives us a rough clue as to what the CB250R might look like. The naked version of the Honda CBR150R has huge potential in the Indian market. If Honda decides to bring in the CB150R Streetfire on the Indian roads, it can price it aggressively against the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. If priced at around Rs. 99,000/- (ex-showroom), the Honda CB150R Streetfire can give tough competition to Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar 200 NS.

Ivin, yes Yamaha will bring in more powerful bikes, but when and which ones is still unknown.

the picture shows different bikes.. i mean some have double disc at front wheels while others single. second pic is completely different(Orange painted) with different tire profiles, exhaust ,etc. what is that all about?

Vignesh, all are the same bikes. The orange one is shown with accessories to draw some eye candy at the Honda stall.

some correction i suggest,
and linked suspension at the rear like the CBR150R >> the truth is the linked suspension are like CBR 250r not CBR 150 r
the tri-colored and orange colored is modification concept, made by local modificator ordered by Honda, for exhibition purposes.
it’ll be a great battle between yamaha vixion 2.0 vs honda cb150r streetfire

Looks like a modified/facelifted Hero CBZ xtreme :) and the speedo console shown in the video looks like the one in Hero ignitor.

Maybe a tuned version of this bike (like 16 BHP power and 14Nm torque minus the FI) can act as a 2013 CB Unicorn in India.

No One, I think Ninja 250 won’t have a naked version but the CBR250 and GT250 will certainly have one soon.

there’s a rumor all ninja under 300cc will produce here in Indonesia and Baby Z 250 has enter process of test and production at our ministry of Industry..as always a surprise like the new ninja 250cc

ninja 300 not production in indonesia because indonesia restrict the CC of bike maximum 250 cc…if higher than 250 cc it will be another luxurious tax. ninja 250 is now about 50 million rupiahs (281,400 Indian Rupee) , if ninja 300 come to indonesia, the price maybe about 70-80 million rupiahs (393,960 – 450,240 indian rupee)

the cbr150 only shared the engine for CB150. The frame however is entirely new. The frame is rather similar to ktm duke.

duke frame totally trellis..shape like deltabox…and the engine is hang-in on not hold down as used cradell frame ike cbr 250..if you have some time check cbr 250 frame…

I like CB 150 r, but I think if it is compared with new Vixion, especially about the footsteps, yahama is better. about the speed I don’t think so, vixi is better. If I have it I’ll replace all the footsteps.
