Buyers of the latest Honda motorcycle in India are getting frustrated and rightly so. After having booked their bikes way back in January 2011, they are yet to receive their CBR250R. The worse thing is that most dealers are not even aware of the situation at the parent company and are left speechless when asked about the delivery date. The recent Tsunami in Japan could have an impact on CBR25oR’s production as many parts are imported from there. However Honda should behave in a more professional manner and inform the buyers when they can get their hands on their dream machine.
Some dealers are quoting that delivers might be delayed till early June as Honda is not able to produce at optimal capacity. While this surely sounds bad for prospective buyers, the current people waiting and resorted to canceling their bookings. Word has it though, that Honda has stopped accepting bookings for the baby CBR as they try their best to match demand and supply. Oh Honda, its not the first time you have made your buyers wait!

Honda had received around 2000 bookings before japan disaster, which is not a huge number.looks like they want to focus on meeting demand of other models where waiting period is now going past six months.

Japan is half finished by Tsunami for their cheating habits all over the globe lets not support their products .Remaining half of Iapanese companies we can finish off by buying our own home grown produxts like RE-350 in this class

Its better to buy a HONDA CBR than a Kawasaki NINJA its damn cheap than Ninja which is worth less

booked mine way in January – am number ’4′ on the list here in Goa – in fact the first four from the same showroom were all red, and honda managed to send the showroom only 4 black bikes – so much for the Japanese and their Ki – it appears that Honda has managed to Indianize itself in the wrong way – for the record, i haven’t received a single message or intimation from honda on delivery of my bike or lack of it thereof !
