Honda US Gives All New Colors To CBR250R

2013 CBR 250R Repsol

As the amateur racing pool increases here in India, the motorcycle companies bring new cards to the table every now and then. Joining in on this race, Honda introduced CBR250R less than a year ago and owing to its mass appeal it has already gained voluminous demand and respect only to become India’s Most Awarded Motorcycle in 2011. Just recently Honda added Repsol edition CBR250R to the line-up and now the Japanese automaker has given the Honda CBR250R all new colors for 2013.

The dual-tone color scheme doesn’t seem to pull the desired masses towards the bike, although performance, rider delight and comfort has been at the top end of the race. The sporty tri-color on the CBR250R may help Honda attract more enthusiasts. Getting its inspiration from Honda’s global successes VFR1200F and CBR1000RR Fireblade superbikes, the eye catching Pearl WhiteBlueRed and Repsol color combo on the new Honda CBR250R will now be sold alongside the new single-tone colors, Black and Red. The overall design of the CBR250R has not been altered, along with the features like Anti-lock Braking System, DOHC engine, Electronic Fuel Injection System remains unchanged.

Honda has also painted the alloy wheels in black color, which is a change we had anticipated at the time of launch itself. Overall the CBR250R starts to look quite similar to its younger sibling, the CBR150R. The new colors look aggressive and the Honda CBR250R does look sporty. Meanwhile in India, the standard spec tri-color model is priced at Rs. 1.45 lakh, while the C-ABS fitted top end tri-color version sells for Rs. 1.70 lakh as compared to its bi-tone counterpart.

These are entirely two different segments.
Anyway if you want comfort and power, go for CBR 250 or CBR 150. Because in the CBR series the pillion rider has the extreme comfort compared to others ( upright seating position ). If you want a long pleasure drive frequently, go for CBR 250 because of its ergonomic seating position that does’t gives you a back/ shoulder pain.
If price is your concern, R15 V 2.0 is the best buy. It is the least powered among the bikes more than 1 Lakh, but it gives decent performance worth your money. but pillion seat is a hell. But dont compare with the Tourer machine CBR.

Buddy both are different segment bikes. CBR is a tourer bike while R15 is a true sportz bike..
IF you like long touring then go for CBR 250 or Pulsar 200NS else go for R15 or Pulsar 200NS if you like to corner hard

Finally honda is smelling heat from hot selling Pulsar 200NS and duke which are priced a ton lower. When it comes to look for a price below two Lakhs, no one can come even closer to R15, next choice will be duke 200 obvious. Personally I don’t like the looks of cbr which is totally conservative and doesn’t speak for the bucks spend. i don’t know how honda is justifying 25k for ABS ? After all TVS also sells apache with ABS with is not creating any hype like a b c abs. faisal could you answer this ?

honda needs to realize that if u are asking customer to pay high premium to honda brand…in return u will get an ass :D

i want an advice, please help me to choose for which i have to go on. i am planning to buy a new bike. already i have bullet machismo 350, bajaj avenger. and also i have a scooter- honda activa. every month i have to travel around 3000 km. and i’m riding bike from last 15 years.
i have picked up some name; they are – CBR250r(with abs) , R15 v2.0 , pulsar 200ns and pulsar 220f also. i know they are all different types of bike with different range also. i have price range upto Rs 3 lakh. but it doesn’t mean that i am not concerning below 1.5 lakh bikes. i just want a bike which will give the best performance; i didn’t mean the top speed or pickup time. as per my concern performance also include – the millage, part’s quality, part’s availability, stability on road and also price of parts. i know bajaj is cheaper then other. but its parts quality is not good enough and also not long lasting. i dont knot about yamaha, but honda’s parts quality is good enough and long lasting also. thats why i want to know which bike will give good performance with less maintenance cost. millage is also a matter for me. i want atleast 35km/lt. not less that that.
every people have there own riding style. i have also. always i try to maintain a speed of 40km/hr; and on high way 60km/hr. i am not a rush driver. i am not a tall one, my height is 5.6ft. so height of bike is also a matter for me.
i just want to know the millage, maintenance cost and on-road performance ( means is it headache free or not) of these listed bikes. now please give me an advice for which i should go for …..
also i want to know, if i go for cbr 250r, when the new colors should be available in showroom of kolkata.
    expected month ???
