According to Business Standard, Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the Kawasaki Ninja 250R in India on 5th October. The bike is expected to be priced between Rs. 1.50-2.00 lakh and if that is true than I am sure many of you must be smiling. The bookings would start just ahead of Diwali and the deliveries would happen immediately. Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj said that a new version of Pulsar would also be launched within three months, which we think would be an upgrade to the Pulsar 220 DTSFi.

There will be no queue, it will just be an over hyped launch. Pricing will surely play spoilsport as it just isn’t possible to price it <2L even if its imported as a CKD. Unless Bajaj decides to cut costs by identifying local suppliers for some parts.

I think it would be closer to 2.5 lakh
Its a nice development and the ninja is a good bike
but let us see what they do to it “fuel efficiency” and all before we decide
I hope its not another hobbled cosmetic job
