Hyosung’s second coming in India won’t be such a smooth sale as pricing details of the Kawasaki Ninja 650R have finally emerged. Bajaj Auto has priced the Ninja 650R at Rs. 4.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). This undercuts the Hyosung GT650R by a significant margin, which is the only bike the ER6 Kwacker will compete with. What motorcycle enthusiasts can now expect is a revision of prices from Garware Motors. Also factoring in the price of the Kawasaki Ninja 250R which sells for Rs. 2.75 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Ninja 650R costs exactly twice as much. But is it twice the bike? We hope it is more than twice.

[box type="info" style="rounded"]The Kawasaki Ninja 650R will be available in black and green colors. Just like its younger sibling, the Ninja 250R.[/box]

This is great news, i dont know how they managed to launch it at such a low price. I was hoping for atleast 6.5-7 lakhs considering all the duties since this bike costs 3.3 lakh in USA

Infact price seems to be far better than any 600cc offering, how is it compare to products like R6 and off course the best of them all, the CBR600 ???

r6 n cbr600rr are race track bikes. The equivalent of this is Kawasaki zx-6r. Kawasaki zx-6r is considered the fastest 600cc machine. 650R is a comfort bike and its 72bhp of power is too hot for Indian small bikers (<=250cc)

this launch can do magic for Kawabajaj.
As far as the comparison is concerned, R6 is a supersport bike-menacing Fast, cbr600 is also the same……..but as far as the Kwacker is concerned, it’s powerful but does’t churns out that much power, neither it has features like inverted forks, diamond chassis frame- it’s suited for power commuting, not for real track work.
But for that much BUCKs,ITS GONNA BE A PHENOMENAL BANG .
