If any Indian automobile manufacturer can be termed as the most ambitious, then it is undoubtedly Mahindra. The company which recently forayed into the two-wheeler scooter space with the acquisition of Kinetic has lots of plans up its sleeves, including entry into bike segment and what better product to enter then the Sym Cevalo 125. The Cevalo 125 is made by a Taiwanese two wheel manufacturer Sym. The current Mahindra scooter line up has alot of Sym association and given that, we don’t doubt this bike will be heading our way pretty soon.

The Cevalo 125 uses a air cooled four stroke, four valve, SOHC 125cc engine with fuel injection. But what is truly impressive is the output of 15bhp this puny engine generates. But its not the engine where it just amazes, the bike has a street fighter look (inspired from the Yamaha FZ series), 5 spoke alloys (inspired from the Honda CB1000RR), mono-shock suspension, disc brakes (front), split seats, black theme and wide tyres. If Mahindra gets this to India, they have a sure shot winner on their hands.

Anil, that is something which we are wondering as well. Around 55k is what we estimate.

Its a fuel injection version and might not be less than 60k

sumit January 4, 2010 at 10:42 am

I don’t think it will cost anywhere below 75K but Mahindra might just give some sort of an introductory offer :)

Whatever the price, when you decide don’t re consider it…. Because KInetic engineering and Taiwans technology both rocks in Mahindra’s New Sym Cevalo, It will be launched soon in India, no more bikes can beat its technology and designs….

this bike looks amazing but if the cast is around Rs.50000, will be better. since now a days more 125CC are available in and around 50k. if it is available around 50k .. will surely make more sales in india.
