Triumph To Launch Motorcycles In India

When we talk about exotic two-wheelers, we have got them all except a few. The few list is going to shrink further as Triumph has finally decided to enter India with a wide array of bikes. The British motorcycle maker is in the final stage of launching its bikes, which will be brought through the CBU route. The Triumph motorcycles which you could soon be ridding in India include the Tiger, Sprint, Bonneville, Rocket III, Daytona and Speed Triple Street models. But what makes these bikes so special?

The Triumph Tiger and Sprint models are powered by a 1050cc, 3-cylinder engine. This motor produces 113 bhp of power at 9,400 rpm along with 100 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Available with ABS, the bikes are mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Bonneville features a timeless design and is powered by a 865cc, twin-cylinder motor. The Rocket III features a 2294cc engine which makes it the highest displacement mass produced motorcycle in the world. This engine produces 140 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm. Prices of these bikes will be upward of Rs. 10 lakhs, so start saving right away.
