ohh yes!!!! spending Rs 160000.00 just to beat the bajaj 220 wow… don’t u think that its wiser to buy a bajaj 220 with just Rs 75000.00 and that’s also street legal…

Prabhat, if you spend Rs. 16,000/- on modifying the Pulsar than you would be the fastest Asian.

after adding all these performance kit.. what will be the no. of BHPs gained? i think its 17.4 BHP after engine opens.. so how many BHP does it becomes after adding all parts of performance kit? 21.4?
well i think tuned ECU chip increases approx 2.5 BHP freeflow exhaust increases approx 2.5 + sporty air filter increases approx 1.5 BHP.. so over all atleast 5 BHPs can be gained by all these 3 parts & if u think ECU is more costlier then just add freeflow & air filter.. to get 19-20 BHPs :D

They are barely out of the blues they once faced and are behaving as if they are manufacturer No.1 in India. I hope they start a class for foolishness soon. They have lots to teach in that discipline.

The performance kits are wayyy too expensive!
Yamaha should come up with a bigger Capacity engine by an extra 5k in price or so, else its a total waste to purchse such kits above 55k which gives only about 10% extra Horses!

I’m a big fan of yamaha. But the price for their performance kits are too high. What could be the reason??

  12. Aku Says:

The high price has a justified reason i.e. The kits r not made in india. They r imported directly from japan as CBU’s (completely built units). So super heavy duties r levied on dem.

Yamaha performance parts ar way too costly. I think yahama has to come out of the feeling of leading the Indian “Desi” Sporty Bike’s. Coz’, Ninja with 250R & Honda with CBR 250R are already ahead in the race now. R15 has alredy bcom old. People i suggest you to go for market available Performance kits rather than these..[K&N air filter; "Yoshimura" imported Exhaust. etc..] Our friends Dj & Aku explained well about hole topic follow them. ALL THE BEST

  16. Dennis Says:

If the performance parts does not come down in price, its better to go for a cbr250 since it will do better than an r15 with all the performance kits installed at the same price(Excluding the cbr250 abs), unless of course you are planning for a 150cc category bike race.
