The Chinese economy is booming and premium auto manufacturers like Audi are facing a challenge to cope up with demand. However the company plans to do its best to keep up with demand in China (the world’s biggest auto market) and are in process of increasing production capacity. In fact demand is increasing at such a rapid pace, it will soon overtake that in Germany. In the next five years, Audi, which is owned by Volkswagen, will be able to make 300,000 more cars per year in China than it does at present. Even rival firm BMW is facing capacity constraints at its facility in China and has started exporting vehicles from its home plant in Germany.
