The 2010 Relio Quick Auto Mall saw a huge participation from many car companies (when we say car companies, we mean their dealers). Although there were no new launches nor any never seen before cars at the event there was alot of eye candy. Other than the normal cars we see on the road everyday, there were a few recently launched cars like the Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo which drew alot of attention from visitors. Participants included Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, Fiat, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Skoda, Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan, Mercedes, BMW, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, Jaguar and Volvo. Also present at the event were vintage cars, boats, go-karts, modified cars and people from financial institutes to help you acquire cars from the above named companies.

Fas, could you please tell me where is this event being held and also what are the prices of the entry tickets, if any?
March 6th, 2010 at 11:19 am
Amaan, the event is at BKC and the entry ticket is Rs. 150 (I think).

Whoa! That’s pretty steep! I asked another colleague of mine and he said that tickets cost Rs.80 and Rs.50 for college students with ID cards. Is that true? Also, what are the show timings?
March 7th, 2010 at 2:03 am
Amaan, I have no idea about the college id bit. I am not sure about the ticket cost actually but it won’t be less than Rs. 100 in any case. Show timings are 10-6 (IIRC). So are you going?

Amaan, so how was the event?

Fas, the event was brilliant. I had a great time there. The event was very well organised and sorted. The cars on display were brilliant too, the RR Phantom for an example! And the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG looked absolutely stunning in black!

Amaan, glad to know you enjoyed it. So what was your favourite car/bike?
March 8th, 2010 at 11:35 pm
In cars, it has to be the Rolls-Royce Phantom. But also, i got to experience the Teana’s rear seat, and it is simply superb! For bikes, i think my pick would be the Kawasaki Ninja 250 R. It looks mind-blowing! And the price tag is quite attractive too, might as well get one in the future

Amaan, when you do get one, make sure you write a review here.
