The Chevrolet Aveo can be termed as one of the biggest flops in the Indian car market. However looking at the way GM is coming back, they can very well change the fate of the Aveo. The next generation Aveo follows the design theme initiated by the Beat and the Cruze. Unlike the current Aveo sold in our country, this Aveo looks the part. The design is bold and beautiful (the car in the pictures is the RS version so we can forget those alloys) and the interior is modern. A good diesel engine along with Beat type pricing is a sure shot mantra for success of this car.

The design really IS bold and beautfiul, but the oversized grille doesn’t appeal to me.

Sorry for disappointing evry1, but this is the Beat for US Domestic Market (USDM) where it is badged as Aveo. This will not make it to India by my reasoning, or perhaps will have a stripped down version of this as the U-Va.
