GM To Launch Chevrolet Beat On 4th January

GM India will launch the much awaited small car Beat on the 4th of January just before the Auto Expo commences. The Chevrolet Beat will be available in three variants – Base, LS and LT with thrust coming in from a 1.2L petrol mill having 80bhp of power and 106Nm of torque. With small cars mileage is a foremost requirement and the Beat doesn’t stay behind with ARAI certified figures of 18.6kmpl. The car recently earned 4 star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests.     GM cars are good but they tend to be very bulky. If they can makes these vehicles lighter weight and have the fuel efficiency they promise, this might be a good deal

    The car does look promising and will surely do wonders for GM,something that the spark failed to do…but I feel there’s an overkill of chrome in the front…
