The Chevrolet Optra petrol (sold as the Suzuki Forenza in the USA) is not known for its performance. However some one has turbocharged his Optra and the result is absolutely maniac. The power is a mind blowing 250bhp + and the car can keep up with BMWs with ease.
So what all has gone in this beast? Well for starters, it uses the stock 2.0L engine, turbocharged with a T3/T4 Hybrid with Garrett wheel running on 7 PSI of boost. The injectors have been upgraded to 32 lb (~340 cc) with a custom stainless tubular manifold and a 3 inch pipe from turbo to resonator. The intercooler has been mounted on the front and it uses a BOV and wastegate from turbosmart. The exhaust system is a 2.25 inch stainless custom Magnaflow Catback. It also uses a 360 Dynamics U/D lightened crank pulley and tunning is done with Greddy Emanage Blue.

Steve, what kind of a bodykit are you looking at? Why don’t you custom design one yourself. GM also stocks body kits for the Optra.

Chance, some dealers stock body kits. Not all though. You can get them at cardomain.com too.

Chance, the exhaust manifold is sourced I think. I am not sure though. You can try to source it from a performance dealer? What are you planning to do? Turbocharging a Optra?
well i would like to, but aftermarket parts for this thing are almost unheard of, i would also like to do something with the air intake
Chance, you will have to custom make the air intake. About parts, the Optra is being replaced by the Cruze so parts will be difficult to source.

Andrew, you can get a custom made one. I am not sure where you will get in Paris though. You can import one from the States.
