General Motors would roll out the BS IV version of the Chevolet Tavera early next year. The American automaker has recently partnered with International Cars and Motors Ltd (ICML) to roll out the BS IV version of Tavera. The BS IV powertrain fitted Tavera is capable of being upgraded to BS V and would be launched on January 1, 2011. All the company’s products in India would be BS IV variant by 2011. The BS IV version of Tavera would be powered by a 2.0 litre CRDi engine resulting in more power and a slight price hike.
